Your key responsibilities will include…


-    Developing the content strategy for evergreen pages and contributing to the strategy for more editorial content.
-    Keyword research and competitor analysis to inform content strategy and day to day work.
-    Develop detailed content briefs for internal and external writers.
-    Managing the creation and upkeep of content across evergreen pages.
-    Analysing editorial content and working with a team of editors to improve the performance of this content.
-    Developing content calendars for key sporting events and periods based on search trends.
-    Advising and monitoring the use of internal links across content.
-    Creating and implementing new processes such as our approach to 
-    Generating reports on the impact and ongoing performance of content.
-    Publishing content across our sites via our CMS.


We need someone who…


-    Has worked on a website where Google News and Discover contribute a meaningful level of traffic.
-    Has at least three years’ working in a similar role and previous management experience.
-    A track record of managing projects for enterprise businesses.
-    Is confident using software such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Botify, Analytics GSC and Excel.
-    A good understanding HTML and CSS.
